The essential oil of Rose is said to bring solace to a heart broken by grief or remorse and to bring a feeling of well being.
Rose is a fabulous choice for emotional issues. It works on the heart chakra to harmonize the spirt to bring peace and happiness. Enjoy Rose in a warm bath or a massage oil.
The common red garden Rose has been a favorite plant in herbal medicine. It has a wide range of uses including: aiding digestion and menstrual problems, improving many skin complaints and strengthening the body against infection.
Pure Rose Essential Oil is one of the most difficult and expensive to produce. It's My Nature only sells Rose Essential Oil by special order. We do not keep it in stock due to the high expense.
Thank goodness dried Rose petals can easily be made into a useful Rose Water. It is wonderful for all kinds of skin care as it stimulates the skin, heightens blood flow, balances skin's Ph levels and helps tighten pores. It is great for all skin types, including sensitive, acne prone and aging skin.
Rose Water with its astringent, antiviral and antibacterial properties can also be used as a facial splash, mouthwash, gargle, throat spray and feminine douche. Use cotton ball to apply to face. Great around eyes to help with inflammation and soreness.

with Rose Water.
Use in a spritzer bottle when ironing, spray on sheets, pillow
cases and in the air to add fragrance during romantic evenings.
Spray on hair or dreadlocks to add a sultry scent and kill bacteria,
use to moisten a clay mask. Rose Water is perfect in place of
water in many aromatherapy and cosmetic recipes. Experiment -
it's great fun!

Dried Herb Usage - Rose Water
Compress - Use cold compress to relieve inflammation.
Great for relieving sore tired eyes. Use warm to relieve wounds
and reduce infection. Great for poor circulation, eye infections
and most skin irritations.
Tea - Drink to aide digestion, menstrual problems, headaches
and poor circulation. High in Vitamin C and helps with asthma,
coughs, hay fever and nausea. Also lowers cholesterol levels.
Bath - Relaxing for emotions. It is said to be an aphrodisiac
because of its sedative effect on the emotions. Heals problems
with the skin. Also good for circulation.
Pure Essential Oil Usage
Inhalation - Very uplifting and balancing for the emotions.
Inhale directly from the bottle or put a drop or two on a tissue.
Skin Care - Great for all skin types, including very sensitive.

Bath - A few drops goes a long way! Very soothing and relaxing.
Create a nice atmosphere with candles and soft music.

or give your partner a back rub or massage with this heavenly
blend.

Recipes
Basic Rose Water
Made by steeping dried Rose petals in water that has been brought
to a boil.
1 cup dried Rose petals
4 cups water
Steep until leaves turn translucent and all color is extracted
- about 10 minutes. Cover and allowed to "age" overnight
in the refrigerator. Strain petals. Funnel into a bottle. Stores
for about 2 weeks in the refrigerator.
For Sweetened Rose Water, add 2 Tablespoons of raw honey before boiling.
Magical Bath Blend
Transform an ordinary bath into a magical experience with just a few drops of precious essential oils.
1 drop of Rose Essential Oil
1 drop of Patchouli Essential Oil
2 drops of Clary Sage Essential Oil
Skin Tonic
(Normal to Dry Skin)
3 ounces Rose Water
1 drop Sandalwood
1 drop Rose Geranium
Add Rose water and essential oils to glass bottle. Let blend for
24 hours. Shake before each use. Use cotton ball to apply to face.
Great around eyes to help with inflammation and soreness.
Scented Candles
When making candles, Mix 20-60 drops essential oil per 8 oz candle
wax.
Scenting Unscented Candles
After lighting candle, add essential oils to melted pool wax.
